This year I really slowed down on my reading. Starting a new job and moving kept me plenty busy and unable to find the motivation to sit still and read. I in no way came even close to reading 100 books or even keeping track of the books I did read.
You should see my to read shelf on my Kindle. I have books that I can’t remember any part of the plot or why I added it to my list.
I will say that I did fairly well on my goal to not buy as many physical books. Discovering that I can access my state’s library program and download right to my e-reader was a game changer. Along with paying for Kindle unlimited, I made a conscious effort to search for books in ways other than purchasing them at the store. You’d be surprised how many titles you can get for free if you just look a little.
